Legacy Emanuel Randall Children’s Hospital

JH Kelly provided plumbing, HVAC and medical gas piping work scopes for a new ten-story tower addition to Emanuel Hospital. The new tower is approximately 340,000 square feet with 176 patient rooms. Located on the existing Emanuel campus with limited lay-down area, the project required critical tie-ins into the existing hospital. These included steam, condensate return, chilled and heating water and medical oxygen, air, and vacuum. The new tower added a patient corridor from the existing hospital to the burn center.
