Scheduling

Proactive Planning Built for Your Project's Unique Requirements.

Collaborative Scheduling Driving Predictable Results

We emphasize proactive and collaborative schedule development that considers input from all trades and is built around project milestones. We develop detailed, milestone driven schedules through our involvement in preconstruction or, for projects with a shorter onramp, immediately after award.

Our schedules are built using industry standard software platforms (MS Project, P6) and built around the unique requirements of every project we perform including critical path activities, design, permitting, project-specific procurement timelines, fabrication, construction activities, and key milestones. We also incorporate items like turnover and commissioning activities and high-risk activities to ensure adequate safety resources are available.

Our collaborative approach provides voice and agency to all project stakeholders from the owner to every trade partner with scope on the project. This process ensures that everyone involved in building your project have had a chance to provide schedule input and validate durations before it is finalized for the construction phase. In practice, this helps ensure both schedule accuracy and buy-in.

We utilize pull planning, facilitated by TouchPlan, to gather more granular schedule input and generate buy-in from the craft leads that will be performing the work at each phase of project execution. Similarly, we hold regular schedule update and look-ahead planning sessions monitor progress, identify potential constraints or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

The result is a collaboratively developed schedule on the frontend that incorporates realistic durations and clearly outlines the critical path coupled with regular updates that readily identify any deviations from plan as the project proceeds. Our project teams use this information to provide you with regular transparent communication regarding schedule status, upcoming activities, and any changes that may impact the project timeline.
