Project Description
JH Kelly is self-performing the construction of a 66,000 sf facility that processes food waste using anaerobic digestion to produce methane. The scope of work included site clearing (15 acres), preload, overexcavation, site utilities, tank yard and building foundations (including a 3.5 million gallon digester tank foundation), Membrane BioReactor (MBR) (above ground 40’x40’x20’ concrete vault structure), building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, structural steel (pipe supports, equipment platforms), equipment setting, process piping, process electrical, process controls, landscaping, paving site work.
All process equipment was provided by OEMs and shipped to site. JH Kelly completed all building MEP commissioning, and provided start-up and commissioning support for all OEM equipment and process
