Project Description
JH Kelly supported the construction of fab 52.2 at a confidential client’s campus in Chandler, AZ. The finished facility, which encompassed multiple construction phases, encompasses over 2.9m sf including 685,000 sf of cleanroom space. The facility was designed to produce the latest generation of logic chips. We supported this phase with fabrication and installation of 1,198 modules for the Sub Utility Tunnel (SUT) and utility level incorporating over 117,000 of carbon steel wet mechanical piping. All modules were constructed off-site at our OSM facilities, transported to the site, and installed by our onsite craft. Modules also incorporated UHP piping manufactured by another contractor and installed in our shops in addition to cable tray, duct, and other systems produced by our own craft.
