Project Description
This project was the second phase of JH Kelly’s development of PNW Metal Recycling’s new site near the Port of Longview. The first phase included development of the site including site grading and paving for the material storage yard and installation of new scales. This second phase was for the build out of a new 6,000 hp metal shredder facility and all associated infrastructure on the site. The scope included site work, foundations, erection of two new metal buildings (PEMBs), structural steel, equipment placement and hookup (coordinated with the OEM - Wendt), conveyances, an extensive environmental controls system, all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls, and the build out of new finished office space and breakroom facilities. JH Kelly self-performed over 85% of the scope of work with our own craft.
