Project ProfileNAU Chilled Water Project Flagstaff, AZ
JH Kelly installed 12,000 feet of 16" underground chilled water pipe and constructed a new chiller plant on a new concrete floor in the old bus barn building as prime contractor on this project. Much of the underground pipe ditch had to be excavated out of solid rock. Additionally, structural steel was installed through the roof to accomodate the new cooling towers. Minimizing campus disruption was paramount to our client. We routed piping in tunnels in high traffic areas and maintained safe student access in other areas. Special points of interest: - 12,000 feet of 16" underground chilled water pipe
- Nine month duration
