PGE Port Westward
Clastkanie, OR

JH Kelly was selected by Black & Veatch, the EPC Contractor, to act as primary subcontractor on this 400 MW power plant in Clatskanie, Oregon. Included in the JH Kelly work scope was the substructure work including site work, excavation, underground utilities and concrete and the superstructure work including the structural steel and building erection, mechanical equipment installation, installation of a Mitsubishi M501G Power Island (gas and steam turbines), and the balance of plant piping fabrication and installation.

Once completed the Port Westward plant became the most efficient PGE natural gas-fired power plant and the most efficient power plant of its type in the Northwest.

The project was completed in 2007.
