Kaiser Westside Medical Center

JH Kelly has been hired to provide the wet mechanical and plumbing services on the new Kaiser Westside Medical Center. Our work scope includes the new tower (273,000 square feet) and central utility plant (26,000 square feet). The tower includes 65+ patient rooms, new operating rooms and new recovery rooms. There is a tunnel with all the utility piping between the CUP and the tower which contains the following systems: chilled and heating piping, steam and pumped condensate, natural gas and medical gas piping (oxygen, medical air and vacuum).
The project began in December 2009 and is scheduled for completion in May 2013.
