Melissa joined JH Kelly in 2019 as Controller. Her background includes experience at both public and private companies across a variety of industries including manufacturing, fitness equipment, internet services, freight forwarding and contract logistics. She oversees and implements lean processes and procedures to streamline day-to-day and year-end accounting while driving bottom line savings. Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Computer Science and a master’s degree in Business Administration, both from Western Washington University. She is also a licensed CPA and has a CMA certification. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and playing outdoors including whitewater kayaking, snowboarding, and rock climbing.
