Construction Career Fair 2014 – Cowlitz County
On Friday, September 26th, over 800 students turned out for the Construction Career Fair held at the Cowlitz Expo Center, in Longview, WA.
High school students from six different schools came to test their skills at welding, bending conduit, wiring circuits, repairing leaks in water mains, and much more! This hands on learning experience was one that spoke to students on a real level – showing instead of telling.
JH Kelly was proud to have supplied over 600 sets of protective safety glasses, vests and hard hats. These students had fun, and learned there are options after high school.
