Weyerhaeuser Kraft Modernization Project
Longview, Washington
The project was awarded to JH Kelly on a lump sum basis and took over 18 months to construct. JH Kelly’s crews worked over 1.5 MM craft-hours without a lost time injury, and erected over 15 tanks on the project, 11 of them stainless steel. Tank sizes ranges from 16’-28’ in diameter and 16’-110’ high, with some dome and cone tops and false bottoms. At the project's peak, JH Kelly had over 225 craft people on the project with boilermaker manpower peaking at 35 craftsmen.
