HSU's Center for Health & Healing South (Block 28 and Block 29) was a design-build higher-ed health care facility offering complex surgery and interventional procedures, clinical space for the Knight Cancer Institute — including oncology clinics, an infusion area and space for clinical trials — and clinical space for the Digestive Health Center and Preoperative Medicine Clinic. This facility was built under an Integrated Project Delivery method with Interface Engineers providing mechanical and plumbing design services. JH Kelly was the Prime Mechanical Trade Partner for 15-story patient care tower, parking garage, and roof-top Guest Housing with 76-units for recovering patients and their families.
