OHSU – Peter Kohler Patient Pavilion
OHSU constructed the new Kohler Pavilion at their main campus in Portland, Oregon. The 14-story building is attached to the south hospital and has an adjoining parking garage. The new building houses patient care facilities for the upper floors of the building with the lower floors reserved for surgery, radiation, and oncology as well as a Center for Women's Health. The building's 8th floor will accommodate the Aerial Tram system that connects the OHSU campus to the South Waterfront area of Portland. JHK self-performed the shell and core installation work scope which included all chilled water distribution, sheet metal installation, air handling units, pumps, heat exchangers, and water heaters as well as all plumbing services and medical gas systems. Additionally, JHK provided the mechanical services for the Phase 2 tenant improvements and interconnecting infrastructure including chilled water upgrades, medical gas system service connections and equipment installation as well as steam and condensate modifications and installations.
