JH Kelly was the Design/Build contractor on this project to modify the existing Great Western Malting facility in Vancouver, Washington to accommodate a major Port of Vancouver rail expansion. The project required the demolition of two silos in the middle of an array of silos to allow for the rail expansion. JH Kelly was responsible for fabricating and installing infrastructure to bridge the gap created by the demolished silos. JH Kelly was able to showcase the effectiveness of our modular prefabrication capability with the installation of over 780 feet of prefabricated gallery. Our craft also installed 1,240 feet of conveyors, two new bucket elevators, and erected over 425 tons of structural steel on the project.
