Cameron Glass Manufacturing Plant
Kalama, Washington
JH Kelly was the EPC contractor for a 175,000 square foot wine bottle glass plant in Kalama, Washington. The facility is the first new plant built in the United States in 30 years that manufactures glass exclusively for the wine industry. Additionally, it is the largest eco-friendly wine bottling facility in the world. Project highlights include:
- 12 million bottles per year production capacity
- installation of the largest electric melt furnace in the world
- 110,000 cubic yards of cut and fill
- 93,000 lineal feet of piling
- 13,100 cubic yards of concrete
- 1,552 tons of reinforcing
- 3,360 tons of structural steel
