Calumet Montana Refining – Pipe Fab
JH Kelly was awarded contracts to construct a 20,000 Mild Hydro-Cracker and 20,000 BPD Crude Distillation Unit for Calumet Montana Refining, in Great Falls, MT. This capital project award totaled over $127,000,000 and has a scheduled final completion date of December 2015. Man hours on the project totaled over 620,000.
All site civil work, including surveying and excavation, as well as complete erection of vessels, steel and all equipment fell under JH Kelly’s scope of work. Full MEP scopes were also awarded to JH Kelly including full electrical installation at the refinery.

2CDU Fab Pkg 04 BOP – 9,800 LF – 14,750 Diameter Inches: MUD, Flare, Water & Gas piping.
Some of the largest victories on the project included civil, steel, mechanical elements – all were installed at an increased rate, setting production records within our company.
