Montana First Megawatts
Great Falls, MTJH Kelly was selected by Northwestern Energy Development to to be the EPC Contractor responsible for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of a 250 MW power plant in Great Falls, Montana.
The plant configuration was a 2×1 using GE Type 7EA gas turbines, a GE Steam Turbine and two each Deltak HSRGs.
Included in the JH Kelly work scope was the performance of all plant design for the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and control components of the project.
In addition, Kelly was to procure all equipment other than the major centerline components and perform all construction activities either through direct hire or subcontracting.
The project was suspended midstream due to financial difficulties of Northwestern Energy Development.
