 Project Profile Oregon State University ONAMI Corvallis, OR A new laboratory facility was built on the Hewlett-Packard Corvallis Campus by retrofitting an existing building. JH Kelly performed all of the mechanical and plumbing scope for this project. The classic mechanical scope for this lab project included a new mechanical room with boiler, chiller, and AHUS, as well as distribution to the new 14 labs and connection to the existing system for supplementing services. Plumbing services included retrofitting and installation of new restrooms and drainage for the building. The laboratory work included high-purity systems with gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes, and distribution piping, as well as vacuum systems. Acid waste pump and drain systems with double containment were also completed. The project was awarded Third Place in the DJC Top Projects category of Public Buildings from $5MM to $15MM.
