Project Profile

ASU South Loop Project
Tempe, AZ

JH Kelly installed 3,000 linear feet of 36" chilled water, 12" steam and 8" condensate lines that connect to Arizona State University's new central plant. New lines run north to the Bio Center and south to the McAllister Village student housing center.

Minimizing campus disruption to students and other contractors working nearby was critical on this project. All pipe and equipment was staged at our four-acre industrial facility in Phoenix and not at the job site. All required subassemblies were fabricated at our shop and trucked to the site at installation time. The project was completed in 2005.

Special points of interest:
  • 3,000 linear feet of 36" chilled water, 12" steam and 8" condensate lines
  • Five month duration

JH Kelly is a 4th generation family-owned construction company serving the greater Pacific Northwest. We function as a self-performing industrial general contractor at process facilities. Our reputation for completing difficult process piping jobs is well known throughout the region and our success has led us to offer 3rd party services as a piping fabricator or module fabricator. Our integrated project approach includes self-performing concrete placement, functioning as a steel erector and providing equipment setting, millwrighting, and electrical services. For commercial HVAC projects, we can be found under tower cranes providing trade services as a plumbing contractor or mechanical contractor on a subcontracted basis.
