S.E.H. America 630 Polisher Installation

JH Kelly recently completed the installation of a new polishing line at the S.E.H. Vancouver facility. The project scope included build out of sub-fab utilities including several skids that provide DI water, cooling water, chemicals and polishing slurry to the 630 Polisher modules. This installation also included the construction of a completely new clean room, including air handling equipment and life safety systems, in a previously undeveloped section of S.E.H.'s facility.

Efforts began with JH Kelly providing CAD design for the sub-fab support skids and continued with prefabrication of piping spools in JH Kelly's UHP fabrication shop in Longview, WA. All services necessary for the 630 Polisher hook-up were installed in advance of equipment arriving on-site resulting in an incredibly efficient hook-up duration (approximately three days). JH Kelly also worked with the tool vendor and S.E.H. during commissioning to help start up the Polishing Line in a very short time frame.

This installation was completed on a very aggressive schedule with multiple crafts working in a limited space. Despite the complicated project logistics, JH Kelly completed the project with a spotless safety record.

JH Kelly has built a strong relationship with S.E.H. over a ten-year period by not only providing the highest level of field craftsmanship but also providing added value in engineering support, field coordination, CAD services, budgeting services and subcontract management.
