Hoku Materials Polysilicon Plant
Pocatello, ID

Hoku Materials Polysilicon Plant

The Hoku Materials Polysilicon Plant sits on an approximately 67 acre site in Pocatello, ID and will include process units, storage and loading facilities, support buildings, and all associated plant infrastructure.

As the Construction Manager, JH Kelly is overseeing all aspects of construction – from the site excavation and grading to the equipment placement within the process units. The fabrication facility in Longview, WA will support field construction with larger welds and fabs.

JH Kelly will self-perform the following services:
· Construction Management
· Steel erection & rigging
· Civil/concrete form work
· Process pipe installation
· Pipe fabrication (Longview, WA fab shop)
· Equipment setting

JH Kelly will install 20,000 yards of concrete, 7,000 tons of steel, and 240,000 lineal feet of pipe.

The final Polysilicon Plant is expected to produce up to 4,000 MT of chunk polysilicon per year, a semi-conducting material and key raw material utilized by the solar power industry.

The project broke ground in March 2007 and is scheduled for final project completion at the end of 2010.
