JH KELLY GOES 8,203,217 MANHOURS WITHOUT A LOST-TIME INJURY

LONGVIEW, WA – February 15, 2006 -- JH Kelly announced today that the company went over 52 months and 8,203,217 manhours without a lost-time injury. This remarkable streak started in September of 2001 and ended early this year.

Injury Free Environment (IFE), JH Kelly's behavioral-based safety program, and the commitment to working safely by every member of the JH Kelly family, are the reasons for this accomplishment.

JHK President, Mason Evans said, "This is the single company statistic of which I am most proud. Thanks to everyone for making it happen. It is the equivalent of a single 10 man crew working for over 400 years without anyone missing a day of work because of a jobsite injury. All great streaks come to an end, but I want to challenge everyone to beat this streak. Sometime in 2011, we will begin to appreciate what an incredible run it has been."

IFE's goal is to send each person home in the same manner in which he or she arrived. JH Kelly has received numerous awards recognizing its safety results.
