JH KELLY RECEIVES 2004 NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL INDUSTRY LEADER AWARD

LONGVIEW, WA – March 25, 2005 -- JH Kelly, LLC announced today that it received the 2004 National Safety Council (NSC) Industry Leader Award for achieving the best safety performance in its category.  The Award is a component of the NSC’s Occupational Award Program created to recognize outstanding safety achievements among members.

Categories are based on the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC code), a numerical code designed by the US government in order to create uniform descriptions of business establishments.

JH Kelly is one of 92 companies honored with this award.  The companies recognized are among the top member participants in the 2004 Occupational Level 1: Green Cross for Safety Excellence Achievement Award.

The NSC is a nonprofit, nongovernmental, international public service organization dedicated to protecting life and promoting health.  NSC members include more than 45,000 businesses, labor organizations, schools, public agencies, private groups and individuals.  Founded in 1913, and chartered by the US Congress in 1953, the NSC’s primary focus is preventing injuries on highways and in homes, workplaces and communities.
