Crews Begin Work on Gondola Unloading Facility

Vancouver, WA - JH Kelly crews are working at the Waste Management site in Arlington, Oregon constructing their new Gondola Unloading Facility.  This fast-track project will include civil, structural, mechanical and electrical work.

The project commenced mid July and crews are nearly halfway finished.  They began with nearly 1,500 cubic yards of concrete and more than 100 tons of steel to erect.  Once finished, our crews will have erected a 110' x 125' concrete slab with three train rail lines and two semi truck roadways running across it.  A structural steel bridgeway runs perpendicular and above the rails and road ways which will eventually support two excavators.

The scheduled completion date of the project is in September 2003 – two months after its start.
