JH Kelly Awarded Mechanical Package at Washington State University

Longview, WA - Hoffman Construction Company has awarded JH Kelly the M2 and M3 Mechanical Packages for the new Energy Center at Washington State University (WSU).

This Greenfield project consists of the installation of three new boilers, DA tanks, condensate system, water treatment equipment, three power generators and all associated piping, pumps, instrumentation, plumbing, miscellaneous equipment setting and structural steel.

In addition to the new Energy Center, JH Kelly is also associated with upgrading the systems within the existing facility, including the installation of updated Pressure Reducing equipment and Pressure relief valves as well as piping upgrades in over 100 buildings and tunnels throughout the WSU Campus. Modifications to the existing power plant are also being made in preparation for the New Energy Center, which will ultimately replace the existing coal fired power plant.
